Texas Court Approved Parent Education Classes, hereinafter referred to as "school", hereby agrees to provide the party, hereinafter referred to as "student", with a Parent Education Course. Courses online are to be completed during the time frame of 300 days.
Course Participation: At various points throughout the online course, our system will ask questions and/or passwords that need to be answered correctly. If you do not answer the questions correctly you will have another opportunity to answer another question correctly in order to advance.
REFUND POLICY:
The course fee will be subject to a $19.95 administrative fee and the balance will be refunded when:
- course has not been completed and a certificate of completion has not been issued and
- course of instruction is discontinued by the ‘student’ and
- refund request is submitted in writing via email, fax or USPS and
- refund request is made within 30 days of registration.
A full refund will be granted when:
- The enrollment of student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the school, or representation made by an OWNER or employee of the school. All refunds will be completed within 2 business days after initial request.
Course Acceptance Guarantee: Texas Court Approved Parent Education has the following court acceptance guarantee. Texas court requirements vary from county to county and even within the same judicial court or district. Most Texas District Court Judges require that only 4 hours of parent education be completed to meet your requirement. If for any reason the program is not accepted, for your legal requirement, we will refund your course fee entirely in full with written proof of decline from the court. We recommend that you gain prior approval before starting the online course. Guarantee does not apply to expedited services.
GRADING AND PROGRESS POLICY: By enrolling in the program you acknowledge and understand that you must do the following to receive a certificate of completion:
- Participate in the entire Parenting Class.
- Correctly answer questions when instructed by the program.
- Successfully complete the course without the help or assistance of others.
- Score 70% or higher on the final exam.
- Agree that I will not allow another person to complete the course for me.
- Understand that if I make below 70% I may review the program and retest.
- Understand that I do not have to complete the entire course at one time as long as I complete the entire course within my time period.
PRIVACY POLICY: By Enrolling in any parenting class with Texas Court Approved Parent Education Classes I acknowledge that I understand the following:
- I understand that all information collected by Texas Court Approved Parent Education Classes will be used only for validation and issuing my certificate.
- For my protection, financial information is for billing purposes and is NOT stored in our database. Texas Court Approved Parent Education Classes will not sell or allow any collected information to be used by a third party company.
- I understand I must complete the course within 300 days from the date of registration.
- I understand that interruptions beyond the course provider’s control could possibly occur.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Texas Court Approved Parent Education is prohibited from issuing a certificate of completion if the student has not met all the requirements of course completion and the student should not accept a certificate under such circumstances. Your certificate will be deemed invalid if the student:
- Signs the certificate without receiving the mandated hours of instruction and/or
- Falsifies any information on certificate.
Information obtained during this course or a statement made by a participant to a suit during this course will not be considered in the adjudication of a suit or in any subsequent legal proceeding. Any report that results from participating in this course will not become a record in a suit unless the parties stipulate to the record in writing.
ENROLLING: Student enrolled swears/affirms that they were the person who is assigned to take this course and that all statements on this registration are true and correct. Student also confirms that they have read the provisions addressed above and fully understand.
This agreement constitutes the entire contract between the school and the student. No verbal assurance or promises not contained herein shall bind the school or the student.
